Today, your day starts early in the morning (i.e around 2 am). Board your transfer that will take you to the base of the trek. Once you reach the base, start the trek to the summit through the rugged mountain terrain with the help of an experienced trek leader. Once you reach the top of Mt. Batur, get greeted by a mesmerizing view with the clouds floating below your feet and the sky painted with the shades of sunrise. Energize yourself with a filling breakfast with the sunrise view. Hike around the crater before starting to descend down the summit. Return back to the hotel and rest for sometime. Later, you will go for a nature walk at the Campuhan Ridge to breathe in the fresh mountain air and lush green valleys with Mount Agung as the backdrop. Enjoy the clear water of the river chutes down the valley through around 10 km of 2.5 hours of exciting class II & III rapids and sudden drops in elevation over 33 spectacular rapids. Complete your rafting session by passing through some magnificent natural wonders of Bali like the lush green rainforest, ricefields, carved stone walls, pristine water pool, and splashing waterfalls. Upon completing your rafting session, relish your taste buds with the delicious local cuisine. Return back to your hotel/ resort/ villa for an overnight stay in Kuta.
Wake up in the morning, have a hearty breakfast in the hotel, and get ready to board your transfer to the Sanur Harbor, from where you will be taking a boat to reach Nusa Penida island. Start your Nusa Penida tour by hiking through a precarious and narrow trail down a mountain onto the shoreline to reach the famous Kelingking Beach. Next, visit the Angel’s Billabong which is a beautiful natural rock pool that opens straight to the ocean and can be accessed easily by climbing down a few steps. Just nearby, is the Broken Bay which is actually a large rock archway from where you can marvel at the ocean as it flows in and out of a natural bowl surrounded by towering cliffs. In the afternoon, take a stopover for lunch and treat your taste buds to the traditional Balinese cuisine. Conclude your day excursion of Nusa Penida by snorkelling in the crystal clear blue waters to discover the majestic marine life. Later, board your boat back to the main island of Bali. Wake up in the morning and have a delicious breakfast at the hotel. The first half of the day is at your leisure, wherein you can choose to explore the nearby markets and the local Balinese handicrafts. After having your lunch and resting for some time, begin your drive South to one of the best beaches and a surfing hotspot - Padang Padang Beach. Once you reach the beach area, follow the narrow staircase down through a limestone cave which leads directly down to the shoreline of the beach. Upon reaching the bottom of the stairs, get greeted by a gorgeous sight of a fringed beach with fine, white sand, blue waters, and a distant horizon. You can take a stroll on the soft sand of the beach while watching the surfers balancing on the board and playing with the waves. Later, visit one of the 6 most important temples of Bali - the Uluwatu Temple. Perched on the edge of a massive 70 meters cliff, one can get the best views of the vast Indian ocean as you walk on the beautifully ornated Balinese walkway around the cliff.
